Abstract. In this paper, we propose a unified approach to investigate boundary value problems for fully third order differential equations. By this approach, we establish the existence, uniqueness, positivity and monotonicity of solutions and the convergence of an iterative method for approximating the solutions under some easily verified conditions in bounded domains. Examples are presented to illustrate our results.
