Abstract. This paper studies the existence and multiplicity of harmonic and subharmonic solutions of superlinear Liénard type equation with some forced terms. First, the system corresponding to the superlinear Liénard type equation with the forced term is transformed into an equivalent Hamiltonian system. Then, it is proved that the equation has infinitely many harmonic and subharmonic solutions by using the superlinear condition and the Poincaré-Birkhoff twist theorem.
