Abstract In the setting of Menger PbM-metric spaces, a new contraction condition is presented and some new coupled coincidence point and common coupled fixed-point theorems of $\omega$ -weakly compatible self-maps pairs are proved. In addition, some examples are presented to demonstrate the validity of the fixed-point theorems. Finally, an existence theorem for a common solution of integral equations is considered.
