Abstract
In this paper, for finding a zero of an accretive mapping in uniformly smooth Banach spaces, a modification of the method, introduced by Ceng, Xu and Yao in [5], is presented. The strong convergence of the modified method is proved under weaker conditions than those in [5]. We also show that some iterative methods in literature are special cases of our method.
