Abstract. In this paper, we consider the single line queueing model with repeated demands which is described by infinitely many partial differential equations with boundary conditions. By using the strong continuous semigroup theory of linear operators, we prove the existence of the unique positive time-dependent solution of the model. We also investigate the asymptotic behavior of the time-dependent solution and deduce that the time-dependent solution of the model strongly converges to its steady-state solution.
