Abstract. In this paper, we first introduce the concepts of generalized (\alpha,\varphi,\psi)-Meir-Keeler hybrid contractive mappings of type I and II via simulation functions by triangular (B,\alpha)-admissible and composite \alpha-admissible mapping pairs. Next, we study the sufficient conditions for the existence of unique common fixed point theorems for such mappings in the setting of complete partial b-metric spaces. Then we also provide two examples to show the applicability and validity of our results. Finally, we present an application to the existence of solutions to an integral equation by means of one of our results.
