Abstract. Systems of nonlinear equations are frequently encountered in science and engineering, and finding practical approaches to solve them is important. In this paper, an algorithm for solving systems of nonlinear equations is proposed. The proposed method is obtained by combing a modified spectral gradient method and the projection technique. Under standard assumptions, the global convergence of the proposed method is established. The reported numerical results show that the method is efficient.
