Abstract
A family of uncountable infinite many asymptotically quasi phi nonexpansive mappings and an equilibrium problem are investigated. Strong convergence theorems of common solutions to fixed point and equilibrium problems are established in a strictly convex and uniformly smooth Banach space which also has the Kadec-Klee property.
